Siroko Price Lab is an independent editorial project that tracks published prices and measures technical specifications. This page documents how data is gathered, what we store about visitors, and how to reach the editors.
Analytical Methodology

Collection
Prices are read once every 24 hours from the public product pages of each regional siroko.com storefront (ES, DE, FR, PL, UK, US). We record the displayed list price, any displayed promotional price, currency and timestamp. No logged-in or member-only prices are used.

Normalisation
Non-euro prices are converted to EUR using the European Central Bank daily reference rate for the collection date. Variance is calculated as the spread between the highest and lowest converted price, expressed as a percentage of the Spanish list price.

Verification
Any price change greater than 15% day-on-day is flagged and re-checked manually before publication. Technical specifications are taken from retail samples purchased at full price; weights are measured on a calibrated 0.1g scale, size M unless stated.

Independence
This site has no commercial relationship with Siroko. We do not accept sponsored placements, use affiliate links or receive free product. Corrections are logged with the date of change on the affected article.
Privacy Policy & Cookie Usage
Data we hold
We do not require accounts. Server logs record IP address, browser type and requested page for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then delete them. Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to answer the query and for a maximum of 12 months.
Cookies & security
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies required for page delivery. No advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party marketing cookies are set. All pages are served over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher, and form submissions are encrypted in transit.
Zero data sale pledge
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for marketing. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by using the contact form below with the query type “Other”. We respond within 30 days.

For data corrections, include the product name, the market and the date you observed the price. Corrections are reviewed within 2 working days.
